Dashboards lose their audience when they try to show everything, so we start from the handful of decisions your leadership makes each month and work backwards. Metabase is connected to your warehouse or read replica with a governed model layer, four dashboards are built on definitions agreed in writing, and row-level permissions keep sensitive data such as salaries restricted. Scheduled Monday email digests bring the numbers to people who rarely log in.

Metabase is open source, cheap to run and enough for most teams. If you are committed to the Microsoft stack we will build the same thing in Power BI.

Only through a read replica. Reporting queries on a primary database risk outages, so we do not configure it that way.

Small datasets work directly off a replica. Beyond that, the warehouse package comes first.
