Share the pull request or send a patch, and a senior engineer reviews it in a clear order: correctness first, then unhandled failure cases, then structure, then smaller details. Comments are left on the diff where they can be acted on, with a short summary of whether we would merge it. This is a review rather than a rewrite, and every comment is marked as either blocking or a matter of preference.
